Lance and his team competed in the AWPC-WPC World Cup in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on Sept 2, 2023. Lance finished first in the 55-59 year-old single ply deadlift division and broke the world record in that division with a 462-pound deadlift. His team members, Todd Anderson and Karrie Arroyo, also broke world records.
